River of a shadow<\/h3>\n

I noticed the long shadow of the tree by the fence: it reminded me of a river, like a flowing earth element that wanted to be materialized.<\/span><\/p>\n

I cleaned up the site and filled up the shadow with small branches.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

I used freshly cut long green leaves as an outline, in order to create a more contrasting visual impact.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

The long fleshy texture of the leaves created a more flowing aspect to the piece, adding up to the sensation of motion.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

By the time the installation was completed, the shadow has changed, but the river was flowing freely.<\/p>\n
